About the Job
Three men, ages 30 to 60, Mexican or Latino. They’re seasoned working musicians playing a Friday night shift at the Seaside Palms. They’re professionals who know songs like "Tu Retirada" in their sleep, but they carry the same weary, fading energy as the restaurant itself. We want authentic musicians who can actually play the instruments. They’re suited to fit into the space, but their suits have seen better days. Musician 1 (Lead Vocals & Guitar/Vihuela): The frontman. He has a booming, tragic, beautifully weathered voice that immediately commands the room. Musician 2 (Guitarrón) Musician 3 (Trumpet)
